Job Purpose
The Senior Finance Manager will own end-to-end financial operations for the organization — accounting accuracy, statutory compliance, treasury management, and financial reporting — while leading the finance team and acting as a strategic partner to leadership on budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee accurate and timely preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are submitted within deadlines with minimal post-submission adjustments
- Present financial performance and insights to senior management
Accounts Payable / Receivable & Treasury
- Supervise invoice processing, vendor payments, and receivables management to optimize cash flow
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts; ensure liquidity is managed proactively
- Own the bank reconciliation process and treasury controls
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns (TDS/GST/VAT as applicable)
- Liaise with consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies; resolve tax notices or discrepancies
- Stay current on regulatory changes across the company's operating geographies (India, USA, UAE, KSA)
Audit & Internal Controls
- Lead internal and statutory audit preparation and coordination
- Design, implement, and strengthen internal financial controls
- Track and close audit observations within agreed timelines
Financial Analysis & Cost Management
- Conduct variance and trend analysis to support business decision-making
- Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives; monitor budget adherence across departments
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
Systems & Process Improvement
- Drive effective use of ERP and finance automation tools
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes for efficiency and accuracy
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team; set clear goals and review performance
- Act as the primary finance point of contact for non-finance departments, vendors, and auditors
- Translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
- Progressive finance experience, including managerial experience (specify years)
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and ERP systems
- Experience managing multi-geography finance operations preferred (given Holograph's India, USA, UAE, KSA footprint)
